Two movies are now available:

1.  A TRIBUTE TO B-52 CREW OPERATIONS IN SOUTHEAST ASIA Created and produced as a tribute to B-52 crews during Vietnam, this video is a trip down memory lane for anyone who experienced operations in Southeast Asia. Close to 8 minutes in length, the video includes several hundred photos from various sources, plus US Air Force movie clips of B-52s in operation. The movie pays tribute to all specialties that flew and supported the BUFF with focus in this movie on the third night over Hanoi. The movie portrays a 48 hour day in the live of a BUFF crew from preflight, taxi, take-off, A/R and then “flying on the lines, turning on the circles and bombing the triangles” with actual audio from Ruby 1 on the third night ( approved for use by the Office of the Sec. of the Air Force), complete with threat radar audio, interphone and radio audio, SAM launches and calls for missing aircraft.  This movie concludes with a tour around major haunts and the trip home.

2.  A TRIBUTE TO  SAC  CREW OPERATIONS IN SOUTHEAST ASIA This movie is developed from but a significant upgrade to the movie above.  It includes Tanker operations, reduces the footage spent on scenery around the region, but does include footage of the breakdown in Paris peace negotiations and the signing of the peace accord after the Hanoi segment, then the POWs exiting the “Hilton” and arriving home.  Finally a tribute to the SAC Linebacker II POWs by night and call-sign, and to those who made the ultimate sacrafice with the final scenes being the “wall” with the Washington momument in the background and pics of both the B-52 and KC-135, both of which have reached 50 years in continuous service.  14 minutes.

Accompanying the videos is truly appropriate and licensed audio from “The Right Stuff”, “Victory at Sea”, and in the target area, USAF “cleared” / un-cut radio/intercom audio from Ruby 1 on the third night over Hanoi. This is an extraordinary experience to be viewed with pride and passed on to family and preserved for future generations to also understand the genre of the people involved in the final successful effort to bring the Vietnam Conflict to an end.  This movie was the principal video used at the ARC LIGHT / Young Tiger reunion in Branson this year.  There were few dry eyes.

The attached clip is a very compressed visual of the first movie above.  That movie is cut from 8 minutes to 1.4 minutes, showing key scenes where  portrayal of the “down-town” segment in the actual movie is near 1.5 minutes and show BDA and SAM launches, etc. The pictures in the clip are on and off the screen very quickly and, depending on the refresh rate of your monitor, some slides many not refresh to a full focus in the time they are on the screen.  The movie is absolutely clear in near the equivalent to 740i.

Have just reviewed the cd/movie. It is an outstanding story of typical arc light activity. Excellent quality of photos and video. My eyeballs weren’t fast enough to catch the credits, but I know the author knows them all! Should be in everyone’s library. Dave.
